OFFICIAL NOTICE OF ELECTIONS

AND CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that elections will be held on June 11, 2024, as follows:

General Elections for the cities of Regent, New England and Mott.

 

Persons interested in filing for the following positions for HETTINGER COUNTY may pick up the necessary forms from the office of County Auditor/Treasurer Jeri Schmidt:

 Two County Commission seats –

 District 1 at-large (4 year term)

 District 3 at-large (4 year term)

 One County Recorder/Clerk of Court – (2 year unexpired term)

 

Persons interested in filing for positions within the Cities of Regent, Mott or New England, please contact the City Auditor’s office in those respective cities.

· Regent – Karen Kouba

· New England – Jason Jung

· Mott – Pamela Steinke

 

The filing deadline for all positions is 4:00 PM local time on Monday, April 8, 2024. Filing is to the official from whom forms were obtained.
